INFLUENCE OF KEEL WIDTH ON WINDWARD PERFORMANCE
PROPOSAL
To check the influence of keel width to windward performance.
RATIONALE
It seems that the ORC VPP underestimates the effect of wider keel fins for the windward
performance of the yacht. Wider keels give better windward performance, and at the same time
slower handicaps (greater GPH). See for example the X-35 yacht ITA 15338 (I15338.off).
