Per rispondere a bullo, alla fine ho avuto un preventivo per la coppercoat di 700 euro (7 confezioni) per fare 4 mani al mio 33, mentre synergy ne vogliono 660 sterline (10 litri) , compresa una mano di primer apposito.
Loro sono convinti di essere superiori a coppercoat, di funzionare meglio e di non avere l'inconveniente di coppercoat che se non messa bene e in condizioni ideali, non funzionerebbe:
Coppercoat does not provide any osmosis protection. It is make slightly permeable by the addition of a water soluble resin that washes out of the coating when the boat is launched. The problem is that epoxy resin cures to a different degree according to the temperature after application. This is one reason why epoxy copper antifoulings do not always work very well.
