Sull'argomento un interessante articolo di "Boat Ovner"con descrizione e test su 7 diversi tipi di Storm jibs:

La conclusione è che la miglior soluzione è avere uno strallo amovibile, a ridosso del tamburo, a cui inferire una tormentino (guarda un po' la mia soluzione!):

Some of the sleeved and wrap-around storm jibs are neat and compact but not one of them is a serious substitute for a storm jib on an inner forestay."
