Dear guests of Messolonghi Marina.

Through this letter we like to inform you about the accident that has happened
on 6th September in the marina.

One yacht fell aside and took 3 others yachts in its fall.
There was material damage, but luckily nobody got seriously injured.
Of course we greatly regret this accident has happened and like to emphasize that our only concern is the safety and wellbeing of our guests and their property.

Also we like to express that, against all rumours, this accident was not a failure of the cradles, or the new storage place, but was only caused by a human error.

Therefore we have decided to re-arrange the lifting, launching and propping.
As of next week a new team will be in charge of all boat handling and boat storage.
This team will be managed by Spiros Kapotis, under supervision of Robert Meijer.
Spiros has over 15 years of experience in yacht operating. Robert is owner of Paleros Marine Service, and he is the new partner/manager of Messolonghi Marina Yacht Service.

We trust that, with this change in the organisation, we have done the outmost to avoid future incidents.
