Message: I've bought a ray gyro from your site.
It really improves the autopilot response, but it generates a delay in the fluxgate compass update. When the sail boat turns, the fluxgate updates about 2 degrees per second.
I had to disconnect the gyro to make the compass work again.
Is this normal?

I try to explain better.

With gyro conncted and re-calibration done I turn the boat by 90° clockwise (starboard).
The fluxgate aligns on the new route very slowly. You can see the heading on the control unit display changing about 2 degrees per second.
In the meantime if I put the pilot in auto mode, it tries to keep the heading showed in the moment I've pressed the auto button, but because the fluxgate is still aligning to starboard the pilot turns the boat back to port (left, counterclockwise).

Have you ever seen this behavior?
Is there any setting to do on the pilot?
Or is the gyro unit defective?

Do you know any incompatibility with this model/release of autopilot?
