Grazie Triscele, mi sà che non è proprio la maniera ideale di farlo, cmq sul manuale del Profurl (copiato qui sotto), prevedono questa opzione, punto 2 e 3.
Forniscono anche come optional delle staffe di alluminio per alzare, magari ri-proviamo con qualcosa di autocostruito ed economico...
L'usura della vela è cmq un problema ed anche se la mura bassa a quanto ho letto (capire è un altra cosa e ci vuole esperienza, pratica ed errori) è un must ci piacerebbe provare tutti e due le opzioni per avere dati alla mano con varie situazioni di vento.
The Basic PROFURL has a device allowing adjustment of the position of the tack of the sail. This feature is
used in the following cases:
• drum mechanism fitted under deck, in the chain locker,
• if the user wishes to raise the foot of the sail from the life lines, in order to avoid chafe on the foot of
the sail, or to allow for better visibility under the sail,
• correction to the luff length in case the sail being cut too short, so that the halyard swivel is properly
positioned at the top of the system.
The position of the tack slide may be changed by loosening the screw located in the tack slide rib, sliding
the tack slide in position, and firmly re-tigntening the screw.
