Citazione:Volvo Penta produces two types of coolant, either green or VCS yellow. Please note that only modern D series diesel and petrol engines marked with a yellow VCS sticker should use the yellow type.
Some new Volvo Penta's may have been commissioned using green coolant, and if this is the case, do not then try to switch to yellow without adhering to the cleaning method, to prevent gelling of the coolant.
Do not try to use VCS coolant in any older diesel, such as an MD2002, MD2040, KAD or TAMD series or other older engine. All models up to about 2004 should only use the green type, and preferably, the ready-mixed option to prevent incorrect dilution and thus overheating issues.
Boh ... valuta tu e facci sapere com'e' andata indagine
